The mission of the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce is for the purpose of advancing the commerical, industrial and civic interests of Champaign County, Ohio and its trade area.

Strengthen Commerce

Develop intra-county and external marketing campaign including development of collaborative marketing materials and a "Buy Local" campaign

Provide networking business opportunities including HR Lunches, Business 2 Business events, Annual Meeting, Chamber Newsletter, and Chamber Page

Enhance Industry

Business retention and expansion by improving business' profitability through partnerships with health care and workers' compensation providers and the Champaign County Safety Council

Promote all county tourism efforts and lead intiiatives including the Barn Quilt Tour

Expand partnerships with Urbana University

Develop a strong workforce through the Teen Leadership Academy, which strengthens the leadership skills of county high school students

Civic Development

Continue spearheading the initiative to establish strong community leaders through the Chamber community development program, Leadership Champaign County

Foster partnerships among non-profit organizations and governmental agencies.

Advocate for business-friendly legislative issues at the federal, state and local levels.
