Notice for Contractors-Demolitions for NSP Programs
NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS--REBID
Sealed proposals for the City of Urbana’s NSP Asbestos Building Demolition Project #2 will be received by the City of Urbana, at the City Finance Office, 205 South Main Street, Urbana, Ohio 43078 until 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 28, 2010 then at said office opened and read aloud at 10:00 a.m. All bidders must be asbestos certified and licensed.
Specifications, and bid forms may be secured at the City of Urbana’s Engineering Office. An amount of thirty ($30.00) dollars will be required for each set of specifications, check made payable to: CDC of Ohio. The full amount is non-refundable.
Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 100% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the aforesaid City of Urbana or by certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid amount in favor of the aforesaid City of Urbana. Bid Bonds shall be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond.
Bids shall be sealed and marked as Bid for City of Urbana’s NSP Asbestos Building Demolition Project #2 and mailed or delivered to:

Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the various insurance requirements, equal opportunity provisions, environmental concerns, etc.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The City of Urbana reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. The project cost estimate with contingencies is Sixty-Four Thousand Five Hundred ($64,500) Dollars.
